Hello I'm Alex Hedlund or also known on this blog as an the Inmate At The Madhouse on Madison I'm a student right now at Northern Illinois University and as you can see from my blog name a Diehard Chicago Blackhawks fan. I've been a Blackhawks fan since about 2005 back when I really got into sports at the time. Yes I watch those painful years before Toews and Kane when there were no home games on TV and filling the United Center was a rarity. Since then I've watch them grow to a playoff team to a Stanley Cup winning team. I've watched many games and gone to many as well and listen to any games that I can not be able to get to see. I've played the game of hockey since I was a 1^st grader naturally it was floor hockey but it was all the same rules. I'm blogging about this topic because there's always something to talk about with the Blackhawks from last nights game to the performance of Jonathan Toews this year. I'll also blog about other things Blackhawks media related books, TV or anything else that's outside just the game of hockey. I'm also blogging about this because I'm passionate about this franchise what you'll read from my blog will be honest truth from me about the Hawks team and season.
